報告摘要:
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a field of computer engineering and computer science that harnesses the power of techniques like machine learning and deep learning to solve problems by analysing and learning from vast datasets. With experimentally verified disease-gene data, the deep learning methods could play an important role in identifying more disease genes towards the understanding of complex diseases. In this talk, after introducing some basic concepts about artificial intelligence and deep learning, I will present two deep learning models: deep belief network and generalized neighborhood based convolutional neural networks, which we recently developed for predicting disease/driver genes from multiple sources of data.
